Judy Rudin has taught self-defense workshops in community centers, schools, hospitals, businesses, private homes, places of worship, and transitional housing shelters since 1992. She is Past-President of Women Worldwide - West Coast, a nonprofit organization that provides women with education, encouragement, empowerment and opportunities. She is also a Facilitator-in-Training for Woman Within, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for women to discover the power of who they are. She regularly staffs personal growth weekends, facilitates women's empowerment circles, and is active in an ongoing women's circle whose members are committed to working on issues in their lives. Judy integrates her knowledge and experience in women's personal growth work into her self-defense workshops, thus creating a safe space for women to claim and explore their power. She specializes in women-only workshops that honor a woman's innate strength and train her to use it. She has been seen on Midwest newscasts and on the NBC 7/39 Morning Show, the KFMB Channel 8 Morning Show, NBC 7/39 News at 11, and KDCI Carlsbad News. A petite five feet tall and mother of three children, Judy teaches that self defense isn't about size, perfect fitness or brute strength.
