This is a half-day workshop offered for 6-12 women and girls.
No previous skill or experience is required.

  • Learn how to transform your fear into anger and use it to defend yourself
  • Learn how your mind and body can work as one to make you a successful fighter
Easy-to-Remember Techniques
Did you know that your body includes FIVE multi-purpose physical weapons?
  • Learn to react quickly and competently
  • Learn effective punches and kicks, and where they do the most damage
  • Learn how to defend yourself even if you are knocked down
Here are the specific physical techniques you will learn
  • How to instantly assume a powerful defensive position
  • How to use your voice and body language to protect yourself
  • How to make effective kicks to knee, groin, and tailbone
  • How to throw powerful and accurate punches to throat and groin
  • When and how to use an eye poke to stun an attacker
  • How to use a foot stomp if someone grabs you from behind
  • How your teeth can be an incredible defensive weapon
  • What powerful resources you can use if you are knocked down


Girl Power for Girl Scouts
This is a two and 1/2 hour, hands-on workshop for Girl Scouts.

Get those Girl Scouts in touch with their awesome GIRL POWER! They'll learn why girls don't need to be like boys to stay safe. They'll develop "street smarts" and learn practical physical techniques that are age-appropriate.
